These sounds baths are designed to help you and your babies/children relax and rejuvenate by listening to calming sounds such as gongs, singing bowls, the Native American flute, ocean and shamanic drums, wind chimes and more.

 

These instruments have an ability to heal and induce a relaxed sleep-like state. 20 minutes of a sound bath is equivalent to 2 hours of sleep and we encourage you to relax with your babies and children and allow the sounds to wash or bathe over you.

2.20-3.20pm is for babies and their grown-ups only (chill-out and refreshments from 3pm if you need to leave earlier for the school run)

4.15-5.15pm is aimed at children aged 4 and above (no upper age limit) and their grown ups

 

I am looking into options of sound baths for children who are walking and under 4. If you are really keen to come or think your child will be okay with some periods of sitting then please get in touch.

 

Venue – Upstairs at Cambridge Road Methodist Church, Kings Heath, B13 9UE

(Please use the side entrance on Cambridge Road and ring the doorbell if the door is locked). Car park is located on the other side of the church (School Road).

 

The structure may vary depending on the energy of the group but will include a mixture of the below. Rachel Xerri assisted by David West will give an introduction to the instruments with an opportunity to feel or play some of them, a sound bath where you are encouraged to bring a blanket/pillow and cuddle up with your little one(s) sitting or lying down and chill-out and refreshments time at the end. there will also be more opportunities to explore instruments at this point. Teas, coffee and biscuits provided.
