The Singing Tribe

26–28 June | Wild Ways, Bridgnorth
(Fri 26th June 6pm – Sun 28th June 4pm)

Step into a living, breathing circle of voice, land and connection.

The Singing Tribe is a weekend immersive retreat where your voice becomes a bridge — between self and community, nature and ancestry, presence and possibility. Set in the sacred landscape of Wild Ways, this gathering invites you to rediscover what it truly means to sing as part of a tribe.

Through guided vocal exploration, shared ceremony and deep listening, we journey beyond words into a way of singing that is instinctive, embodied and alive. Together we meet at the firepit, the river, the stone circle and the house of the ancestors — allowing our voices to carry stories not always heard: the voices of the land, our lineage, and our inner knowing.

This is a space to feel supported by the vocal ground of the group beneath you — a collective presence that allows confidence, creativity and authentic expression to rise naturally.

Whether you are new to singing or a seasoned professional, you are welcome here.

What You’ll Experience

  • Tribal vocal sessions rooted in presence, connection and improvisation
  • Singing in nature and sacred spaces across the land
  • Gentle small-group circles and partner sharing for reflection and integration
  • Fireside songs, sauna sessions and time to rest, wander and reconnect
  • A community of voices that holds, inspires and uplifts

This is more than a singing retreat — it is an experience of belonging, remembrance and renewal.

Your Guide

Ruana has trained in vocal improvisation with Rhiannon (Hawaii), Guillermo Rozenthua (London) and Briony Greenhill (Devon), weaving their influences into a uniquely intuitive and soulful approach.

Ruana will be assisted by Izabela Turowska-Iawska who will lead us in a tribal dance where all vocals are welcome.
